I’ve been using an old olympus pen camera of late.
it takes half-frame by using a conventional 35mm film in portrait, creating 72 exposures instead of 36. if you get them developed normally you can end up with some really lovely juxtapositions.
i took the camera on holiday with belle and snapped some pics in paris. i like the analogue simplicity of film; and half-frame is a sort of halfway house, you can snap away because you have so many shots, but also don’t end up taking hundreds of duffers and then retaking them. you also get the heady excitement of getting the film or prints back from the developers. maybe i need to get out more.
