i had a bit of a panic today when i suddenly realised i’d offered my take on training and recovery, and yet i’m not really all that successful as a cyclist. i guess what i was trying to suggest is that there are myriad different ways to approach the same goals, and it’s sometimes reassuring to see how other people approach racing, bearing in mind the time-sink that is the modern world of work until you drop.

and interview with obree; note that he used to ride uphill in the 53:11 to build strength.
the other one is pete reid’s black book. you’ll have to google it.
